Although coaching differs from therapy in key ways, it is still a deeply psychological undertaking. Most executive coaches lack the rigorous training to fully understand the psychological underpinnings that belie human behavior.

As a licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree and 20 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Giacalone uniquely understands human motivation, behavior, learning and change. She brings a depth of understanding in these areas that is far greater than a coach who isn’t a mental health professional.   

What you can expect from your executive coaching engagement:

  • An accurate assessment of your leadership style and how you appear to key stakeholders both inside and outside the organization, through a 360 Degree Feedback online instrument and interviews

  • Clear, honest input from Dr. Giacalone

  • A results-driven action plan

  • Weekly (or bi-weekly) coaching sessions, occurring in person, via videoconference, or by phone

  • Shadowing of your meetings and other engagements, if desired

  • As needed facilitation of crucial conversations to model new behaviors and support skill attainment

  • Ad hoc support
